An art movie experience which can been seen after a long time considering the history of srilankan cinema! Directed by a veteren film DOP Jayanath Gunawardana. Starting PUBUDU CHATHURANGA with SOMY RATHNAYAKA(after 15 years), BIMAL JAYAKODI, DULANI ANURADHA and some superb actors as the cast.. A different kind od a ‘village story’ which has to happen between 1974 to 1977.
A special thing about this movie is that PRODUCER, CAMERA,EDITOR and ofcourse the SCREEN PLAY is done by a singal person, and that is Jayanath the Director of the movie. Shot arround some beautyful locations at Anamaduwa, Balangoda, and colombo!
Donald Jayantha as the assiatant director while Indika Udaralanka as the makeup artist for the first time in an art movie. Manjula Ayagama did a fabulous job as the art director of the movie while Dinesh Subasinghe added some colour with his exelent music…!
It’s a true master piece which is going to mark a silver stone in the Srilankan cinema…
