‘Suwanda Danuna Jeewithe’ which is another new production of the Alankulama Films. The film is yet to be shot under the direction of Dhammika Siriwardhane, who is also the producer and the script writer of this movie. “ Dhammika was once only a producer. He became a director only after gathering experience by being in the industry for sometime,” said lyrics writer, Kelum Srimal.
The movie scripted by Siriwardena took shape after a 52-day hectic shooting schedule in picturesque locations in the island. Based on a stirring love story Suwanda Danuna Jeevithe also includes some foot-tapping numbers.
The main two characters of the movie are performed by Pooja Umashankar and Roshan Ranawana while the rest of the cast are Sanath Gunathilake, Morine Charuni, Ramani Siriwardhane, Himali Siriwardhane, Rex Koddippilie, Gayathri Dias, Pubudu Chathuranga, Raja Ganeshan, Sandali Walikanna, Janak Premalal along with the others.
The Art direction of ‘Suwanda Danuna Jeewithe’ is by Lal Haridranath, Camera direction by Jayanath Gunawardena and Make up by Indika Udara Lanka.
The Executive producer is Basuru Siriwardhane while the Production management is by Ashoka Ariyarathna.
The Lyrics are by Kelum Srimal, Nilar N. Casim and Nandana Wickramage.
The songs are created by Rohana Weerasinghe, Bhathiya and Santhush, Mahesh Denipitiya and Sachin Pieris.
The songs are sung by Uresha Ravihari, Shihan Mihiranga, Bhathiya Jayakody, Umara Singhawansa, Shiraz and Irosha.
The shooting of the movie is going to be starting on August 6, covering the areas such as Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Bandarawela, Mahiyangana, Monaragala, Colombo and Kadawatha.
